Canada

Right after our trip to Beaver Falls and Pittsburgh, PA, we met up with family and drove to Canada. My sister and brother in laws were owner/operators of a blacksmith business in a small Menonite town. On the way to this little village, we had to stop and see the famous Niagara Falls.

The Falls were breathtaking. I don't know why anyone would want to go on a boat tour and get all splashed on, but people do. I liked our vantage point just fine.

The rainbow was a nice added touch.

These were the grounds around Niagara Falls. I had to get this shot because Tulips are my favorite flower.

Besides Post Offices, another weird thing we like to find is the local miniature golf course. This one was in that Niagara Falls area and it was all dinosaurs, which really appealed to Carl and me.

Here is the town where we visited for a week. It was peaceful, clean, and had some terrific Menonite bakeries. Oh boy, did they ever. And a Farmer's Market that cannot be beat. Fresh milk so rich we couldn't drink it straight. Huge steaks, like in the Flintstones. More baked goods, pies, cookies: it really was heaven on earth.

A 2 minute walk from my relatives house and here we were. Steams, trees, swans. We don't see swans where I come from.

We found a see-through tree. We called it our Magic tree. Everything about this hike was magical.

No trip is complete without a Post Office photo. So here we go again.
